Landwey Appoints a New Managing Director
It started out like any regular morning, but it quickly escalated as the CEO announced the appointment of Ms Shola Bello as the new Acting Managing Director amidst delighted screams and squeals from the humans of Landwey.
Shola Bello was previously the has 15 years’ management experience in Business Development and Operations, with comprehensive skill in managing cross-functional business operations, project planning & execution. Her area of focus has been Consulting & Business Management for SMEs, with a proven ability to motivate teams and drive revenue growth through operational excellence and outstanding customer service delivery. Her experience spans across various sectors in Real Estate, Non-profit, Fashion, Telecommunications, Media and Automobile services both in the U.S and Nigeria.
Prior to joining Landwey, her most recent work as Coordinating Manager at Freedom Foundation, she represented Nigeria at the 28th Session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention & Criminal Justice in Vienna to present the outcome of the Foundation’s rehabilitation program for victims of human trafficking. She studied Business Administration at Bowie State University in the U.S and has also completed certification courses in Strategy, Management, Finance and Marketing from IBIM Institute, University of Maryland and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from the University of Cumbria
Ms. Bello served as the VP of Projects for the Nigerian Business Forum, North America (2006-2007). NBF was a non-partisan, non-profit membership organization dedicated to providing a forum for individuals to exchange ideas and information with the ultimate goal of contributing towards the economic growth of Nigeria through entrepreneurship, attracting human capital to Nigeria, helping individuals invest in the country and promoting the nation’s progress.
As part of her humanitarian work, she served on the launching committee of the Africa Leadership Congress in Washington D.C. She currently serves as Board Member of Freedom Foundation’s program – Genesis House.
