WHY BUYING LAND IS A GREAT IDEA

Land is largely low-maintenance. With land, you don’t have to do much; particularly if you’re buying for long term purposes. It can’t be moved from where it is, can’t be destroyed by fires or floods, and altogether it’s pretty well-behaved.

Definite appreciation. The price of land is not determined by factors like how pretty it looks, or how in-style it is. Land is certain to appreciate with time, and this is not affected in any way by superficial factors. You can rest assured that your land is going to bring back an impressive return on investment. Whatever way you choose to look at it, it’s a win.

Make of it what you want. Another thing that makes land such a good idea is how flexible it is, and how easy it is to customize. You can choose to use it for agricultural purposes, lease it out to business owners, use it as a car park, maybe? Or you could just leave it alone. It’s your oyster!

You can buy from anywhere. When it comes to land, distance is not a barrier, because it’s easy to buy land from anywhere. You don’t need to be in the state or even in the country to purchase a piece of land. Ease of purchase is definitely a plus.

Land is a finite resource. Mark Twain once said “Buy land, they’re not making it anymore”, and there’s yet to be a better way to describe land. Land is a very finite resource; there’s no new land being produced. What this means is, if you decide to re-sell your land in a couple years, it will definitely sell easily.
