Would you will your property to your favourite pet?

Dogs are known to be one of the most loyal friends a man could ever have, how true is this pet Lovers? Speaking on general terms, animals are such agreeable friends—they ask no questions; they pass no criticisms says George Eliot, a British Author.

There’s nothing like the unconditional love a pet gives. They show you affection, give you a sense of purpose in every manner of it. What better way to recompense their love than to will your properties to them…just before you consider this as mindless, here’s a fascinating story.

According to Zeenews, A German countess Karlotta Liebenstein, when she passed away in 1992, gifted her dog Gunther III a multimillion-dollar trust, a property which reportedly was worth $58 million and by virtue of generation, was inherited by Gunther VI.

Multi million dollars to A DOG!

The report further describes the estate to be in a private gated residence located in a prestigious neighbourhood. The mansion which was built in 1928, personifies elegance and is indeed a jaw dropping sight to behold, both the exterior and interior. It houses 9 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. The breathtaking interiors include a grand coral staircase, arched stone entrances, fireplaces, maid quarters with an outdoor swimming pool.

All for A DOG!

Hold that thought. Another interesting fact is that the Tuscan-style mansion once belonged to Madonna (American singer-songwriter and actress) which was purchased from her in 2000, reportedly for $7.5 million.

According to Zeenews, Gunther VI lives quite the opulent lifestyle alongside the humans who take care of him, he travels by private jet, eats steak and caviar, owns many yachts and cars, and reportedly purchased a $1.1 million white truffle at an auction. His estate also founded Gunther Rescue, a benefit society to help animals in need.

What A DOG!!!

Good charity work being done with an inheritance from a human. Been quite a long read. How about we sum it all up with this question- Would you rather will your possessions to your favourite pet in the absence of a loved one (s) or simply will to charity?
